in touch! Like your page on watering plants in greenhouses.I work all day and yes i do worry about my plants,( silly me).Is it ok to water my plants before going to work,as my greenhouses are in the sun all day? I have seen sprinklers on timers and think by scruff

water edging plants
heathers ferns, but in places creeping buttercup and ground elder try to rule.  We do not really have any water edging plants down there and I would really like some.  This year in spring I split some hostas and put those there and they have done really by Maderense

Watering dormant plants in an unheated shed
Morning all, I have an unheated shed in which I intend to overwinter pelargoniums and coreopsis. Is there any rule of thumb for how often I should water them ? Thanks, Chris   Water sparingly- if at all-cold and wet will see of more plants that just by Chris 7

Water plants for a wildlife pond
I created a wildlife pond from a preformed liner last autumn. It has sloped edges and will be in semi sun and semi shade. It is about 1metre long and about half a metre wide. Not very big. I am now thinking about what water plants to put by John mcleod

How to plant this water lily? Nymphaea Aurora.
Hi, I've just received this nymphaea and the instructions say to plant the roots downwards. I'm struggling to see which way up it is as all I can see are small spindly green shoots.    Help! I don't want to plant it the wrong wafy.  Green shoots up by JodeJay

Any information on Achimene plant would be most welcome. Is it right that it should be left to dry out completely after flowering and that the rhizomes must be kept in a cool dry place till the following February befor replanting?. can someone help by Jean Young

Garlic in modules
I have decided to plant my garlic in pots to overwinter them. I am hoping I can then get them into the ground in the early summer. I have looked up how to do this ( fairly simple really) but it does not say how much to water them. I am finding things by frensclan
