, and if we have a very dry spell I'd give the foliage regular sprays with a hose as well as plenty of water for the pot. They can grow up to 3 ft per year in optimal conditions, but I imagine that in a pot the growth will be slower - you'll have to let us by Zoomer44

Talkback: Bank holiday gardening jobs
and the newly planted leeks and broad bean plants water wise as well. Otherwise it is war on the dandelions and bindweed and gathering great bunches of lily of the valley and anemones for the house now that my beautiful Mother's Day flowers have wilted. Hope by lazygardner

There's a new beetle on the block, or should I say lavender plant. Its shiny black with stripes ranging from pale orange to dark red, about the size of a ladybird, could be mistaken for one i guess, except its unusual colours. Did check out by Excited finder

at the moment as they have not had a frost. My first time of growing sprouts they look so damaged but the sprouts themselves look nice an tight and safe. I didn't see those nasty caterpillars til it was to late for one of the plants so then it was out with a by joey northwood allotments liverpool

until it's finished flowering and then re-pot it. You should be able to keep it in a pot for at least a couple more years, but eventually it will have to go in the ground. If you have alkaline soil then make sure the planting hole is deep with a good by merv jones

Standard Fuscia problem
no more ! Check for rust but maybe it just needs feeding or watering . I've grown several standards from fuchsia cuttings ( bit of a hobby really ) Is it a full standard ? Not sure about the splitting bark though as I've never had that problem. Leogirl by Leogirl
