I planted a flagpole cherry tree last year.  It looked fine and flowered beautifully this spring. However, it is now looking very sorry for itself.  The leaves are drooping and gradually turning brown.  Do you think it is waterlogged or not getting by lougarden

Talkback: How to grow ring culture tomatoes
If you FEED a tomato plant BEFORE the tomatoes are set you will get a big plant with big leaves and little or no fruit. This is NOT the correct ring culture . The correct equipment is a bottomless pot with a 'moat' around it. Liquid feed is applied by gharrop

Compost
wouldnt want ant powder anywhere near any vegetable plants. Ants nesting in/invading compost bins are a sign that the compost is too dry- try watering the contents. J. oh ok, Thanks Jo Stir it up and water it - they'll leave in search for somewhere warm by WelshAnge
