New Apple trees
the bottom off the plastic bottle and take the cap off the top.  Then turn the bottle upside down and sink it into the soil next to the tree, shrub and especially next to my courgette plants.  Then when watering I fill the upturned bottle and the narrow end by garrysnelson

Cucumber plants
Hi Is there a problem with cucumber plants this year my seeds all came up and prompty died and two new ones which I brought from Notcutts are now starting to wither? They may be over-watered-cucumbers are notorious for neck rot where the stem meets by Yvonne Miller

if they are left unwatered. Should I leave them to virtually dry out before watering? What is the feeding (if any) & watering programme? I usually mix in Growmore to the compost before planting bedding plants. Is this OK for geraniums????  honestly i think your by BILLYC

. in the summer water it well but do not water log it, as a feed use baby bio around once every 10 to 14 days or so. Avoid strong direct sunlight at all times. ( they do not like it ) in the winter reduce watering and stop feeding. Avoid placing the plant anywhere by northchiel

, At the moment the plants are sufficiently damp, BUT the flowers are limp and the buds are bulbous, leaves are fresh.  Is  this due to lower temp or erratic watering?  There are no pests on the plants.  I would add that this has only occurred during the last by brockley

drought vs to much rain.
when growing during a drought most people store water and water there plants by hand. so what is you your solution for growing during a year with to much rain to get good results. Since so many claim to much rain was the reason they got poor results by colin bowcock fan

Hot roof garden = dry pots!
