Hydroponics?
Hello all, I'm wondering can I grow veg such as Runner Beans in the water course of my Koi Pond? I can easily grow water cress, so I am guessing there is enough nutrients occouring naturally in the water. \any help apprciatted   Doesnt sound likely by Paul Little

If you set your greenhouse on slabs, make sure the upper surface isn't 'riven' as that lets water drain in whenever it rains! by Callander Girl

Pruning Rhododendons - how? Help needed!

Drowning fruit tree
( a damson) sitting at the lowest point in the little orchard is showing signs of distress and the leaves are turning  yellow. I am thinking this is due to the planting hole being filled with water due to the constant heavy rain we have had over by frensclan

Hi Kate,Back in 1966 England won the world cup and we looked at a cottage just out side St Ives in Cornwall without running water or electricity the water would be laid on in 1967 and the electrics 1968 so we didn't buy it,But it had 3/4acre by oldchippy

Waterlogged Garden
Can anyone advise what can be done to drain a garden when the water table is so exceptionally high? It is not just us our neighbours are suffering too. I'm concerned about exisiting shrubs, small trees and bulbs. Not a lot I would have thought by JillDann
