Weed or flower

Hi there, I am a very new gardener and am getting to grips with what is a weed and otherwise but this one has me stumped, could anyone shed any light on what it might be? I was convinced it was a forget me not or a penstemon until one popped up by debanslow

What is this weed?

I have a weed that spreads all through my flower beds likw wild fire. It had dark red slighty hairy stems, dark green jagged edged leaves. It has a slight aniseed smell to it. it's roots are very shallow and I take the whole thing roots and all up by Sarah Townend

Bind weed

What's the best way of getting rid of this persistent weed please? I've been following its trail of pure white roots and picking it all out - but before you know it, it's back!! I would welcome advice on the same thing! We have just taken by LambsEar

Climbing weed

We have a persitant weed that winds it self around several trees and bushes in our garden. It will climb as high as you like. I have tried to trace it back to its source, have manages to eradicate a lot of it. But it seems to spead every where by ghog

'weeds' at Chelsea

Plant or Weed

im not sure rather or not to pull this up or not as i havent got a clue what it is, if it is a weed i will pull it up, thank you. Bit hard to see properly, but it looks a bit like a Dock to me. The picture is too close-can you post another one by Mathias Atkinson
