Talkback: Blanket weed in garden ponds

weed or plant ID help needed

Hi, I wonder if anyone could help identify these two plants, they've come up in a border and i don't recognise them so suspect theyr're weeds. The first there are quite a few of, about two foot tall (at present in south east), leafy,no buds so far by sthlndngrower

Invasive climbing weed, can anyone identify

I have a friend who has an invasive climbing weed smothering shrubs in the garden. No idea at the moment if it flowers, loses leaf, changes colour etc. It twines on long stems but the leaf doesn't appear until it reaches light at the top by quite contrary

Growing Under Plastic Sheeting

Hello, In December I prepared various beds, weeding manuring etc... then, I sheeted them up with black 1000 micron visqueen. Today when I pulled back the sheeting there was a carpet of fine weeds happily growing underneath the sheeting. I presumed by Andrew Kenneth

New house, new garden, how to de-weed and de-plant borders please??

HI All We have just spent a couple of weeks digging out lots of horrible brick walls and crazy paving in our new house. The front and the back had so many plants, thorny bushes, tonnes of rose bushes (not our cup of tea at all) and awful weeds by davielovesgravy

My drive
