What is this weed?
Does anyone know what this weed is?   Has it got lots of fragile looking white roots and spreads around a lot? When does it flower? What colour are the flowers? How tall does it get?   I don't know about any of those things. It has only just by Tom Archer

Blanket weed!
don't really want to use chemicals because we have 8 goldfish in it. Does barley straw work as well as i've read? and would it be best to completely empty the pond, get rid of the weed and start again, introducing the straw? I have a one lilly and some by Sloeberrysal

Perennial weeds
I have a large plot with a substantial perennial weed problem. I'm okay with the weeding part but I'd like to know the best way to compost the vast quantities I dig out. I originally put them into a separate open composting area but am building up by rmenmuir@btinternet.

This does not look like Lesser Celandine and is definitely not creeping buttercup so I would say Mouse ear hawk weed.It is a weed and wants taking out, it will spread but not as fast as creeping buttercup or celandine.I watched celandine cover by GRACELAND

Bind Weed / Top soil
Hello we have just built a raised boarder and had some top left from a previous project which we have used to fill the boarder Unfortunately the soil became invested with bind weed last year which we treated with back to the root and thought we had by karen williams2

Can anybody recommend the best all-round tool to do a lot of weeding in my vegetable patch now that almost everything is harvested. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep up with the weeding all summer as usual and now I need to throw myself into it by Suecamp

Have so many weeds in my lawn. Whats the best way of getting rid of them without starting again. HELP PLEASE! !!! You can buy selective weedkillers for lawns anywhere-or use a weed and feed. Cheers thanks. Was just hoping for a cheaper option by gab82

Horsetail weed
I'm afraid there is no easy solution. Where there `are no other plants you can spray with a glyphosate-based weedkiller such as Roundup, crushing the weed first so that the weedkiller penetrates its waxy surface. This won't eradicate it, but it by Sandra cooper
