What's that tree?

Allium growths?

My globe alliums have all grown fine this year and are now in full bloom. However, 1 of the blooms has strange little white lumps in the flower head. The are quite hard and look a bit like tiny bulbs. Any ideas? My son picked the flower so I don by Sian Evans

Where are Gazania seeds ?

I have started collecting seeds from my flowers that are gowing over but I cant find any seeds in the heads of Gazanias. Am i missing something ? Do you have white fluffy strands, the seed should be attached to the end of them. The mass of stuff by nodlisab

Wild Garlic

Hi Everyone, I have been watching some cookery programmes and they have been using wild garlic. This plant usually has a white flower. In my front garden I keep getting garlicy smelling flowers growing, looks the same, but they have yellow flowers by Judith Richards

Jasmine In Shade

I should get? Thanks I have had jasmine (officinale, i think - the white summer flowering one) growing over an arch in partial shade with overhanging trees. It does grow but not alot and it has never flowered, its at least 8 years old, perhaps this is due by Frozz

what to do with paper whites now

I followed Monty's advice.planted paper whites,they smelled incredible (but grew too tall and toppled) but what can I do with them now? Can I plant them outdoors? Know they're from Med so unsure You can do -but honestly best discarded-treat them by Louise Stevenson

i love the foliage on my geranium There is a thistle called Syllibum marianum which has the most striking foliage of dark green and white. Heathers always look good because,even when not in flower, their foliage is attractive, but my favourite by kaycurtis
