How to cover a slope with ivy cuttings
something to cover the rocky slope and which will encourage wildlife. there is a rosa hedge planted along the grey gravel and behind that will be a wildflower meadow garden - this slope leads down on to my lawn area. I would be happy with more cotoneasters by DONS1979

Coverage of Hampton Court Flower Show
! (maybe I'm just grumpy ...)   I like a bit of grass...but mine is full of clover for the bees, so it doesn't get cut too often, I' don't mind it a bit wild and wooly. I couldn't grace it with the term 'lawn' though. It more 'managed wildflower meadow by Lowenna

and as a result this has given the advantage to all the dandelions lying in wait over the winter. I love them, just as long as they're not on my allotment! I'm happy to let them grow on my "lawn", but then most of my garden has been invaded with wildflowers by bushybushkins

yellow spots on tomato leaves
the moment yours is a problem we could do with right now ....my wildflower meadow is sitting in a flood , my huge rambler roses are rotting in the bud , the moorhens and slugs are happy so we head off to an open air concert tomorrow with wellies rather than by joanna macdonald
