Wildflowers
Hi all, I got given a lovely pack of mixed wildflower meadow seeds for Christmas, and I'm wondering about the best use for them? I have a large patch of ground where we have recently removed a fir tree, and I was planning on creating a mini by Bookwormy

Wildflowers - to dig over soil before planting or not?
. I want to turn this area into a bug friendly wildflower plot but have read that ideally the soil should be turned fully to allow for the seeds to be planted in. However, it feels as if I've got a decent base to work with here so wondered if I should by Barry Hayter

Wildflower meadow
Hi, The last of the snow has melted and the weather is starting to warm up, do you think it's ok to sow my wildflower meadow even if there is still the risk of frost? wildflowers are used to our climate, they'll be fine.  Thank you by Erica938

Wildflowers in tubs
Is it possible to grow wildflowers in tubs?  Our garden is landscaped and we do not have a lot of flower beds, but want to plant perennial wildflowers.   Yes, it certainly is possible and they like pretty poor, well-drained soil.  The only problem by LMR Dumbarton

Wildflower turf
Hi! Has anybody laid wildflower turf? we are about to lay 3x2m strips that are very thin and have a plastic net underneath. If we dig up the grass the wildflower will sit below ground level so we were wondering if we could just lay it over by Loz

Creating a wildflower meadow
Hello, I'm new to this site but would love to ask more experienced gardeners for some advice. We would like to create a wildflower meadow in our field in an area approx 5 metres by 15 metres. The main issue we have is that our house is on the site by chinchillasoup

Germination of some wildflowers
of days ago, they haven't had a chance yet. I sow my outdoor annuals when it's warm enough for me to be out there without freezing. I agree - I've not sown any wildflower seeds yet I've sowed some corncockles for the first time this year. Mine were sown by Outdoor girl
