Can an architectural graduate move into garden design?
. This led me to think how much I enjoy nature, creating habitats for wildlife and outdoor spaces.  I am now thinking about a career in garden design but I'm not sure what course would be best for me!   As an architectural graduate I already have skills by Kentish Maid

unwanted willow tree
wildlife-friendly such as a crab apple in its place.  Does anyone know how I can get rid of it organically?  I don't mind leaving a stump but don't want it to re-grow and I don't use any harmful chemicals in my garden.  I tried giving it a severe haircut by raggedrobin

are still underground with their scarves on. Be patient and be ready with the wildlife friendly ferrous sulphate slug pellets already scatterd where your hostas will emerge. My hostas aren't peeping up yet but daffs, primroses and pansys are in ful swing by dizzylizzy

Talkback: Death in mysterious circumstances
. I used to have a cat. Usually it would leave presents at my doorstep. Most of the time she would leave a few bones from a mouse or a bird. She ate very healthily so why she would eat the wildlife amazed me. Oh well! At least I know she loved me by Janey
