Bees

Tidying up herbaceous plants for winter
friend who clears all dead growth, which enables her to fork over her beds and apply a winter mulch of well rotted manure and compost over the plants before winter really sets in. Is there a preferred method (from the plants/wildlife point of view by Tim Burr

All year plants
arrived everything died and look bare and horrendious.   i am wondering if anyone has any ideas on some affordable plants i can use that will at least attempt to survive all year, possibly flower if im not asking much.  i love to take photos of wildlife by incojim

today and he told me that there are no other ponds nearby and he's only ever seen a few frogs in yrs. it's left me a bit disheartened, however I will hope for the best that we attract something to the garden.  Yes, you will attract wildlife.  Frogs by JodeJay

Thanks for your comments, I've been thinking these thoughts for years, is it a marketing ploy for all of those companies who sell various attractive wildlife products to pretty-up our gardens, animals and wildlife would much prefer a wilderness to a by Wild Soundscape

that attracting them- scatter them around the plants-birds will not eat the pellets but if you are worried about that then wildlife friendly pellets are available Thank you, Sotongeoff, I will give that a go, and in the meantime sow lots more in pots to put out by Jimeva
