Tidying up herbaceous plants for winter
I'm in two minds about clearing up summers perennials that are now fading from green to yellow/brown. Somebody once told me to simply leave it to provide winter protection for the plant, and the garden wildlife (both good and bad), but I have a by Tim Burr

water feature
any ideas on a natural water feature for my small garden id love a pond but realistically i just dont have the room sadly Ponds dont have to big, any water source will encourage wildlife, a simple preformed pond can be simple installed in ground by weejenny

I have a very large garden. we moved in to an overgrown jungle 2 years ago, well not literally, there is a house too. I cut down the sick trees, leaving others around the perimeter, these include, lime, oak, horse chestnut and oakbeam. from by safla2

Does Anyone Know What This Mauve Flowered Plant Is Please?

Bird seed falling in pond
Hi - I have a small wildlife pond which has a simple pump, pumping out water over a rock and back into the pond so that the water stays fresh.  Unfortunately I have made the big mistake of putting it quite close to a seed feeder and the seed falls by Lunarz
