Cat/Bird and Wildlife friendly garden
I have a really tiny garden, just 32ft in length and 18ft wide...I currently feed the birds in the garden as one of my cats goes out on a lead and the other has restricted access.  I want to cat proof my garden but its very difficult as we have by Suzanne4

WILDLIFE PICTURES

I have a woodlouse nursery in my garden, beneath a large terracotta saucer which I use as a wildlife drinking water container/bird bath.When I lift the saucer to clean it, I am always delighted to see woodlice of varying sizes scurrying away to hide. by collie_lady

Feeding Birds / Protecting your plants
I find it interesting that under 'jobs to be done this week' it is suggested that we cover fruit trees and bushes to stop birds eating the emerging fruit buds and at the same time we get a whole raft of suggestions on how best to feed our garden by Beanli

Wildlife Pond
I have just created a wildlife pond in my garden  -1.5m x 1m (preformed pond) with the intention of attracting more wildlife into my garden.  I am looking for some advice on plants to put in my pond to keep the water clean that are not too invasive by John mcleod

Potentilla
Like to leave my garden wildlife friendly in winter but have a potentilla that is getting too big, would like to prune it but is it best to wait till Spring?   Potentillas seen pretty tolerant, you can probably do it when it suits you. by LizzyT2
