Gardening For Wildlife
at the moment there is a small very mature Apple tree and an amazingly big and old Berberis and a couple of very small Holly trees. I have decided to garden for wildlife and have decided on a pond fairly close to the house so that its visible from the windows. A by Mark Feather

Wildlife friendly pond
My project for the Spring is to start work on a wildlife friendly pond. I have built ponds in the past, but not specifically wildlife friendly. I do intend it to hold ornamental fish too, which I know is not ideal. Does anyone have any particular by Shropshire Lad

wildlife pond, with a cat...
Hi, Been thinking about building one, but I have a cat and foxes are known to come in the garden. I don't want fish, just a pond to encourage more wildlife.Thoughts? Why not? The cat might catch the odd critter, but I'm sure there'll be plenty left by djjjuk

James, derelict bomb-sites are actually very good for wildlife. How about a compromise, guys?Everyone has a area that is sort of ignored. Cut and trim all you want, but move the trimmings to that unused area for the winter.Works for us... Of course by Bradleys garden

Wildlife pond advice
Hi I'm in the process of planning a wildlife pond, hopefully to be built later this year or early next year, it's going to be a very rough crescent shape, aprox 3m x 2m and around 0.8m deep at it's deepest point. I'm using a flexible liner by johnnyfive
