Talkback: Recycling in the garden
brilliant idea. I didn't think of egg cartons though so that's next on my list! I love all this recycling. I bought loads of energy saving lightbulbs last year and i saved the little boxes and now im using them for sowing my seeds.. sweet peas and sweetcorn by LGNOTTS

allotment or window box can have a place to sign in and  say hey up its me how do I start on this here garden. Would never work Brian-with this forum and the way it operates- it is not designed in that way-best to just ask a question and someone will reply by Brian Cooper

Growing veg with little space
which will apparently suit containers but wondered if anyone has any tips for me? Theoretically yes, how big are your containers? Salad leaves should be no problem, they will grow in a window box. There is a courgette called 'Venus' A T&M one by laarobbins

Compost course
about what actually gets recycled.  Maybe it depends on the area you live.  We are given a box for glass & tins and another box for plastic & cardboard, but when its collected its all thrown in together??  So I am interested to know how they separate by artjak

New Gardener . . . New House . . . What would you plant?
't big enough to grow anything and the plants would probably just grow over the sidewalk.  I put down some landscaping fabric and covered it with rock asphalt.    I plan to take down the screens on the windows and put a windowsill box on each window by lakerhater

What happens when you leave your boyfriend unattended!!
garden arch for sweet peas but I don't have a small wall like reddahlia and some others of you. I have 2 small box hedges either side (bit too small at the moment - more like box plants).  You don't need a wall, Dd. Have you got a path it could span by * Red Dahlia *
