Bird box v bird feeding
- that being said, at work I have a feeding station about 10 feet from my window, and last summer a pair of robins nested successfully in the climbing hydrangea underneath my window. We've had viewers in one of our tit boxes this year, but nothing happening by Tim Burr

Talkback: Wireworms
are marketed specifically to attach to windows for interior viewing, this goes against my intuition. I think the best place to put these boxes is in secluded secret places, hidden on a fence under clematis or ivy, high up in trees in dense foliage. North by linmos

ROOT CONTROL GROWBAGS
I have inherited a eucalyptus bush about a foot high, which has been living in a window box for many years! My garden is tiny though and I am reluctant to plant it directly into the lawn, ad these do turn into very large trees...which root control by freshairfanatic

Seedling;s
help them get maximum light by cutting the top and one long side from a cardboard box and lining the inside of the box with aluminium foil.  Place the seed tray in the box and have the open side towards the window.  I start my tomatoes off every year by graham hunter

Tomato/Chilli Transplants not growing!
homemade tin foil lined box by a south facing window to grow on. This was almost a month ago and as far as I can see, there has been little or no growth at all in all that time. Is there a reason for this?   I would even say the foliage looks ever so by Tom Freeman
