Talkback: Take begonia leaf cuttings
article. I'm keen to have a go.I have a question... Last year I bought two trailing begonia corms. They flowered last summer and died off around Autumn. I then stored them over winter and re-planted them in spring this year. Neither of them grew over by 1912Andy

Please ell me what to do with my summer bulbs!!!
prefer moister soil, part shade, so it depends on variety. Again those in sun apparently need storing dry over winter. Freesia- grow in sheltered, sunny garden spot. 5cm/2ins deep late April/May. No point in trying to keep- discard once flowers finished by PaperFlowers

to buy new ones for a good display next year. I did notice him putting the bulbs into a nursery bed for cut flowers for the house, but I'm afraid I don't have the room, so it look's like I will just have to buy news bulbs! I grow some tulips in pots each by lucky10carol

things will have thrived. I have a cardamine out now that's never had so many flowers,  that will have loved the wet. Some probably will have struggled or given up. We shall see.    Thank I've lost a few things. As you say, we'll see. This endless winter by Rosemarie Curtis

Talkback: Plaiting garlic
Have just grown garlic for the first time, and bulbs are sound but very small (autumn planted). I shall persevere! Love your new book, Pippa - both practical and inspiring. Thanks! Our garlic has flower buds on it now, is it normal to allow them by Dawn-marie

What to plant under Acer
. Is it too late to buy them in the green? A few small spring bulbs would not hurt, but wouldn't have much effect on the weeds, either. The usual advice is to plant spring flowering plants below a tree so that they get flowering over with before the tree by Munzle
