Winter wonders

I've been staring at an empty terracotta planter all Summer, meaning to fill it, but have never got 'round to it.  Now it's mid-August, I'm wondering a) whether it's best to leave it empty over the Winter (as I have no space to bring it inside by Noob Gardener

over wintering strelitzia in greenhouse
ive just purchased a strelitzia for my patio, i over winter cordylines, bananas and washingtonias in my greenhouse, which is heated with a 4ft tube heater,, will these strelitzia plants come through with such minimul heat? What is the minimum by mlcandrjl

Tidying up herbaceous plants for winter

Protect Perennial Seedlings Over Winter
Anglia and have presumed they will not stand a chance outside over winter and have placed them on a windowsill. Is my presumption correct and what is the best way to try and keep these alive until next year when I hopefully will have plants i can plant by Adam Osbourne

Hi Kate we have a winter flowering Cherry opposite the kitchen door just behind the soakaway from the roof,it's been in flower for two month now and I have never seen it look this good,The snow drops are very stunted this year only just above by oldchippy
