Talkback: Bluebells
lynne I am tranplanting bluebells spread all over my garden to a small wood. Some of the bulbs are a perect onion shape. Others are long and almost tuber shaped. I am concerned that these may be foreigners. I would be grateful for advice Ancient woodland by Bluebelle21

walls etc... the garden level is above that of the grown floor of the house. Oooh that bank is full of possibilities - I think I'd treat it as if it was a woodland fringe and create planting pockets within the tree roots - digging individual planting by Myfallenheart

Help - should my acer palmatum be in acid soil?
for the best? Thanks for any advice! It is wrong advice based on that in nature they are found in dappled sun in woodlands. They like any loose compost, so any from the garden centre, with a mulch and feed and they will be fine. I've never planted any of my by lindsay2610

.Is it that we have exceptional amenities here? I doubt it. Anyway, there's also Nant y Deri, in Cowbridge, a lovely woodland garden which is the home of Bordervale plants. It is a bit remote and involves a drive along a narrow country lane for about a mile by Gardening Grandma

Need help identifying trees

Toads
