Hardening off after short period indoors
greenhouse still uncovered? Just noticed that bit, sorry. Can you cover with plastic, bubble wrap, etc in the greenhouse? Or, have you repaired greenhouse? If so my advice earlier holds. Thanks ill put them out with them being so young will they survive by cairnsie

packaging (the stuff usually wrapped around electrical goods) the last 3years, but didn't do it over this winter. Despite this, it looks healthy enough and still has 3 very broad, deep green fronds on display. However, these didn't appear until at least late by Rozzy

of your crop is ready to pick at about the same time and you can't eat them fast enough. They turn starchy if left more than 24 hrs. I pick ALL that are ready and remove the wrapping around the kernel. I then wrap the bare kernels in cling film and put by brianfbennett

olive trees and oleanders in pots
healthy at the moment, hope they will flower in the summer.  It was said in the newspaper advert I bought them from they would be okay to -5 C. Yes Phil they should be alright to -5 but I would still wrap some fleece around them or move them if possible by PHILTHEBRILL
