Talkback: Wolf spiders
several times its own body length to pounce, after carefully sizing up its target. I recently visited st.paul's cathedral gardens in london where there is a lovely tree with cup shaped yellow flowers. I wondered if anyone could identify this for me. by kathleen norman

yellow rust on hoolyhocks
i have alot of tree frogs that live in my yard so i use no chemicals, but my hollyhocks have been attacked by what looks like bright yellow scales and brown egg like spots on the under leafs.what can i do non chemically to stop the deaths of my by danielle giampappas

Does anyone know the name of this plant?
don't think so.  I have just been out and managed to take this photo of the flower itself.  They are nearly 'over' now, so that may help.  Kate, as you can see the flower is yellow and a little like a dandelion, certainly the seedheads are like massive by fiona10

Pepper and Chilli problems
was only watering when the plants needed it   Pam x Well, the pale green/yellow can mean nitrogen deficiency but I'm sure you're feeding them and the foliage is lush anyway. Let the mix dry out completely before watering again and see what happens. Will do by lilylouise

White roses going pink?
This rose bush is 8 years old and always produces masses of lovely creamy white flowers. This years buds are dark pink! Why????? I have a white rose that is doing the exact same thing, except its a spotting of pink. I also have a yellow rose spotted by clarrie28

Willow Tree in need of a haircut.
Hi Can anyone help or advise me please.  I have a Willow Tree in the front flower bed and the street sign, it's between 5ft and 6ft tall, it leaves are bottle green, it's also got beautiful yellow flowers in summer, it's got lycon growing all over by Angelsflower
