Hi Kate we have two Escallonia growing along the fence with tubular flowers mixed in with dogwood and cotinus and a flowering cherry and pyracantha and cotoneaster all growing happy together ,they have been in about 7 years and are well over grown

is perennial. In principle, it can survive. However, it is very easy to grow Cherry Brandy from seed each year, so that might be the simplest thing to do. 'Goldsturm' is a hardy perennial and won't need protecting. I don't know 'Cherry Brandy' but I'm sure
