Very interesting. I didnt realise they were woodland plants and should be planted in the shade. Though saying that - my honeysuckles planted along a south facing fence do much better that the ones planted along the northwest facing fence!?!

Just bought two honeysuckle to grow through my hedge will they go straight in the ground not sure of soil quality and there's a path at the other side ? Honeysuckle will grow in almost anything :P Water plants during the summer if rainfall is less

I have artist conk growh on my euclayptus tree stump.  They look quite pretty so I have allowed it to grow for 2 months now.  However, it seems to be starting to affect the honeysuckle plant that is growing around the stump. Will it eventually

or is it just that the plant needs more time to settle?   *thanks* Wiser folks than me may disagree but many honeysuckles need reasonable moisture during growing season so perhaps it's too dry. I grow 4 of them. Only the variegated one is shy to flower
