these in the photo - but it does look as if it ought to be something wanted rather than weedlike - on what basis I could not actually say!!   I totally agree. It looks like a plant growing with pride and purpose, rather than a furtive looking weed! I left them

was cheap wooden skewers for cooking I broke them in half so they had nice splintered tips and put them in the ground as spikes. I put them through my cat mint which was permanently flattened.I had to use them round my veg in my raised beds too. Cats love
