Saw this growing in a meadow in Scotland, it had a beautiful scent, anyone know what it is?   It's meadowsweet (filipendula ulmaria), which grows in damp meadows and on rural roadsides. I agree, a lovely scent. Oh, I didn't think it was Meadowsweet
