I've had great success this year with my tomatoes, its the first year I've planted my tomatoes from seed and I chose the Moneymakers variety. I gave a lot of my plants to family and friends and they too had the same luck. Its my first year growing

Can I reuse, or should I discard?

I always keep the stakes to reuse next year. But is this a good idea?  Every year my tomatoes get Blight. And what about the containers I grow the tomatoes in? I always  wash these out before storing. Thanks for advice. Maggie I believe

 continues, growing tomatoes outdoors will be a thing of the past.....the spores of blight flourish in warm damp conditions. Growing in a greenhouse does give some degree of protection as the foliage remains dry for the most part. The only advice I could offer


Need help with tomato plants

For 2 years I have tried to grow tomatoes in my greenhouse. Every time, the tomatoes seem to grow out of hand!!! I've put them in cages, tied them to sticks, always prune them, and try to find determinite types but even those didnt stop growing

I am new at gardening, I have Parsnips in tubs and some in a small patch, My garden is 10mx10m, lawn in center, 4mx6m, so not alot for growing , lots of pots ,Ihave just lifted my dalias , stored in a tub with shreded paper, we had a frost last week

Anyone grow grafted tomato plants? I did but got blight. Still had a reasonable crop but I'm not sure if standard tomatoes are much different. Been growing toms for a few years but don't seem to get as many as I think I should,do. Should foliage

Chillies to do their own thing Pam x So do I. They don't grow to the size or bulk of tomato plants, hence no need to worry about side shoots.
