LAWN SCARE!!

  Pinkpeony, can you describe what is happening to your lawn.. At this time of the year lawns are attacked by crane fly larvae feeding on the grass roots. Birds search for these grubs and because the grass roots have been eaten the grass is torn up too

sure it is in a sheltered, sunny position to give it the best chance. A thought - did you examine the roots while re-potting? Did they look healthy? And no sign of any grubs such as vine weevil? Hi  i'd concur with Alina, that bay trees like to be fed

-weedkiller of any sort-the only other thing it might be is vine weevil grub attack -tip out of the pot and look for white grubs But I'm afraid there is not much hope-I don't think taking the middle out of it would have killed it

or die off? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks, Nick Personally I wouldn't . I would leave it until Spring and just grub the larger weeds out or you could risk damaging it further. It wont die off and the weeds, like the grass, will start growing
