Hi people, was wondering /hoping, somebody may have some useful tips for taking up some turf by hand, without a turf cutter. We moved into our house in september last year, i've made room for veg, but the grassed area is all over the place

while. I agree with the other comments, wait until it warms up a bit and give it a good water. You may have to give it a feed aswell.  Just a word of caution-laying turf in the winter is the worse time of year-all that is supporting that turf is the soil
