hi guys,            Sorry to ask you all again for plant id's but you are all soooo good at it  The first & second one is a small evergreen tree with tiny yellow flowers in spring & the third & fourth is a perennial with almost cabbagey type feel

will let u no I would probably say just go for a thick layer of bark as this will massively reduce the number of weeds by itself and in my experience beds with membranes can become a real pain as the plants mature especially if you're planting perennials
