to dig them out you will be able to trace these runners and remive the worst of the problem. It may take a year to remove the weed problem though. I would suggest trying potatoes in the outside beds as these can out compete a lot of weeds. Inside

remember was the night of 4 June.  Lots of people lost their beans.  I was really lucky and saw the late weather forecast and put sheets of newspaper over the potato shoots. The first frost of Autumn is usually in half-term week.

How late is this 'spring'?

reckon they're a month behind. I an digging up stray potatoes from last year which just show signs of growth. Normally any strays would be 6 inch high by now. It is late but things have a way of evening themselves out-we have had lack of spring

at growing all typres of flowers and vegetables, but I alway feel like I'm just a bit late with sowing my seeds. I'm interested in growing herbs, hanging basket plants, carrots, peas, betroot and parsnips. Maybe next year try potatoes. So to get organised
