One of my cordyline's is filling with water in the core, is this normal?  If not how can I stop this happening, I'm concerned thatit might rot. The leaves obviously funnel the rain water-you cant stop nature-just push a  leaf down a bit and force

Hi All I just gone to dig up some of my potatoes out of my big potato buckets and as you get down to the bottom of the bucket, where we have had so much rain, the compost smells stagnant.  Is this normal and will the potatoes still be ok to munch
