I have 2 wheelly bins of rain water on my allotment, i never had a lid on them so the water is smelly with fallen leaves etc in there, is this ok to water my veg plot with or do i need to use a waterbut with a lid on, water? I would say it's fine

If you set your greenhouse on slabs, make sure the upper surface isn't 'riven' as that lets water drain in whenever it rains!
