Wild life mating can be very fascinating. i have two collar doves which kiss beaks for ages before mating on next door's roof! The time od day does not seem to bother them but we will all have to get up very early to watch the slugs it seems

is Seagulls! Same here, Ryan. Seagulls and magpies drive off smaller birds. Our dogs object to birds using the air space, which doesn't help, either. We've just had a Peregrine swoop down and take a woodpigeon from our garden  Literally just 10 minutes ago

siting where it get as much light/sun as possible-perversely it may need shading during the Summer but you don't want any permanent shading from trees etc. Again ideally a roof line that runs East to West is preferable but in the limitations of a garden

Hi - my garden has been overtaken this year by a big gang of adolescent starlings.  They eat all of the food as soon as I put it down, they constantly fight with other little birds to discourage them from using the feeders, they squeal all the time
