can anyone tell me if rose clear is harmful to cats and dogs? What do the instructions on the packaging say?

My Jacqueline Du Pre has been stripped of leaves  by the rose sawfly caterpillar, but what I would like to know is whether this pest eats other plants too.  I have  lupin, galtonia and gladiolus plants that show the same type of attack as the rose.
