Identify variety of acer

My neighbour has a beautiful acer in her garden, it is approx 3 metres high by approx 4 metres accross with very small grren leaves, rather shrub like. She doesn't know what variety it is, any ideas? i'd love one and with so many varieties available

Cats have killed all my frogs
