Completely new to veg growing

Hi all, Didn't think it would happen..... but will be having a go at veggies next year. The plot will be 10ft(L) and 6ft(W) in a really sunny spot. I want to grow something easy and generally low maintenance but most of all something that I can go

hi all I am very excited at being given a 1/4 plot after waiting 3 years for an allotment. There are some raised beds already in place and I wondered if its too late to be getting manure and putting on the beds, i don't really know what the soil

Is it just me are is everyone experiencing no show with stuff they've planted?  I dug up half of my garden (because it wasn't getting used for relaxing or entertaining etc) and decided to have a vegetable plot instead ( to try to cut the cost

's become a bit of a problem.  I can relate to that WW   Ours is 120 feet long, 40 feet wide. We have 2 GH's & a shed. Borders on both sides, and an ericaceous bed beneath an old apple tree. Small veg plot with some veg amongst flowers & stuff in tubs

the flowers as there is no room in my mini veg plot. The "spare"cabbage that i just plonked in that border did far better last year than the ones i fussed over in the veg garden.
