Is it wild phlox?

and kept it.  Had to dig an enormous hole to plant it in the garden - the entire pot shape.  It doesn't look attractive these days but hadn't a clue what else to do with it other than the bin and just couldn't commit it for council execution.   Yarrow2

with a strong tea made of yarrow and sometimes I add garlic and other herbs. It can prevent blight if used repeatedly and slows down an onslaught if it has already taken hold. Much better than using chemicals particularly if you want to eat the tomatoes
