In January and February I like to get all my seed and plant orders underway as it's usually the perfect weather to stay indoors.

...I approach new year with the firm belief that I will treat my body like a temple, drink plenty of water...religiously eat my five portions of fruit and veg every day and get super-fit.

After a seemingly endless period of dismal drear, we finally made it to the plot on a cold, crisp frosty day... woolly hat and socks were de rigueur.

Hooray - it's officially turning wintry! We've had a couple of good sharp frosts - the kind that knock all those leaves that have been hanging onto the trees rather annoyingly off in one fell swoop.
