Despite temperatures in my greenhouse dropping to zero at night but soaring by day, I've just got to get on with more seed sowing. Chillies and sweet peppers are top of my list.

I normally chit potatoes in the greenhouse, but after last year's potato massacre I felt that putting the tubers rose-end-up in trays would be rather like condemning them to the chopping block.
