Take rose cuttings
If you have a passion for roses, why not try taking cuttings of your favourites? It's easy to do, and although it'll be two or three years before they bloom, the flowers will be worth the wait - and just think of the savings!

- Buy tulips now while they're fresh in garden centres
- Plant daffodils and crocus in pots
- Lift and pot up tender perennials

- Pick ripe apples and store the best in fruit crates
