Beyond the south lawn with its magnificent 300-year-old cedars, the garden cascades down the valley in a series of terraces and flights of steps to the mirror pool. As you descend, you’ll find herbaceous borders, a rose garden, kitchen garden and bog garden, while the National Collection of asters ensures there is colour well into autumn.
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
