Sizergh Castle Gardens 2-for-1 entry

Get one free entry with one full-paying adult, with your Gardeners’ World Magazine 2-for-1 entry card. Valid at 392 gardens.

Elegant and richly planted landscaped gardens offer much to see through the seasons, including formal terraces, a vibrant kitchen garden, apple orchard, mirror lake, wildflower meadow and many beautiful views. The extensive limestone rock garden, adorned with stunning Japanese maples, lush ferns, a stream and pools, is a delight to explore.

One of 32 National Trust properties in our Guide, Sizergh Castle offers a great family day out! Quite apart from its beautiful gardens, Sizergh also provides a range of activities for visitors of all ages. The ‘children’s scallop trail’ allows younger visitors to trace the history of Sizergh in a fun and interactive way. Kids are also invited to test their agility on the ‘wild play trail’. Keep a look out in summer for the many butterflies and other wildlife which make the estate their home.

Check before you travel

Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.

We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.

Always take your 2 for 1 card with you

Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.

If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.

Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
