These rich and beautiful landscaped gardens feature wildflowers, a lake, kitchen garden, pond, orchard and National Collection of hardy ferns. Of particular note is the large limestone rock garden, which dates from the 1920s and is planted with an array of colourful Japanese maples, ferns, dwarf conifers, and more.
