Many beautiful plants from around the world relish this mild, sheltered setting, including the spectacular Chilean fire bush. In the woodland, magnificent trees, some almost 200 years old, tower above carpets of bluebells, orchids and wildflowers in spring and summer. Recent additions include ponds, herbaceous borders and terrace walks.
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
