Three hundred years of tree planting has resulted in one of the world’s finest arboreta. Seasonal displays of abundant exotic and native plants provide a breathtaking backdrop of colour across the seasons. Enjoy vibrant azaleas and rhododendrons, then, later, fiery autumn foliage. Conifers are the garden’s crowning glory, with many handsome, unusual or impressively large specimens.
