When we think of Charles Darwin, we often picture him on board the HMS Beagle or on some far-flung tropical island. But much of his inspiration came from much closer to home. A great source of inspiration to Charles Darwin, this garden has been restored to look much as it did in his day. You can visit the greenhouse where he studied plant growth, explore his experimental beds in the kitchen garden, and walk in Darwin’s footsteps along his ‘thinking path’.
