Renowned for its woodland gardens, full of magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas and bluebells, as well as vibrant autumn foliage, this 200-acre estate has re-opened to the public after nearly 10 years. Nestling in a steep-sided valley, it features seven man-made lakes, a large rock garden dating from 1890, lawns, parkland and two alpine glasshouses. Wallabies and various deer species wander semi-freely throughout the estate.
