Privately owned and painstakingly restored over the past 20 years by well-known plantswoman Mary-Anne Robb, these 12 acres of richly planted gardens are divided into rooms, each offering distinctive planting. In spring, thousands of tulips bloom across the gardens. In summer, this plant-lover’s paradise is full of roses, clematis and rare climbers.
Important update
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
