In a secluded valley near Fowey is the aptly named Hidden Valley Gardens – a horticultural haven for plant-lovers. This award-winning garden squeeze 26 different beds and borders into an intimate three-acre cottage garden. The free garden guide and well-labelled borders make it a great place to test your horticultural knowledge, and maybe even discover your next favourite plant.
There are cottage-style plantings, colourful herbaceous borders, a potager, Japanese garden, shady fernery, hot border and wildlife-friendly pond with bog plants. Collections of crocosmias, dahlias and agapanthus thrive in the warm microclimate.

Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
